Verdener Keks- und Waffelfabrik Hans Freitag GmbH & Co. KG is an owner-managed family business in Verden that has been producing fine baked goods with great care and love for many decades. We produce around 130 different biscuit and wafer products in bags and other packaging and market them nationally and internationally.

Machine and plant operator (m/f/d)

We are currently looking for a full-time machine and plant operator (m/f/d) for our waffle production facility.

Your tasks:

• Operating and maintaining the waffle production equipment
• Producing dough and creams
• Troubleshooting equipment malfunctions and optimising waffle production
• Instructing other employees on how to use the equipment
• Reliable processing of necessary quality records
• Cleaning the plant and filling the wafers into boxes

What you should bring with you:

• Completed training as a machine and plant operator (m/f/d), specialist in confectionery or food technology or a comparable qualification as a cook, baker or butcher (m/f/d) is an advantage
• Career changers with relevant professional experience from industrial or food companies are welcome to apply
• Reliable, proactive and conscientious approach to work
• Strong team spirit, technical understanding, motivation and openness
• Shift work: alternating early and late shifts; optional night shift
