Verdener Keks- und Waffelfabrik Hans Freitag GmbH & Co. KG is an owner-managed family business in Verden that has been producing fine cookies with great care and love for many decades. We produce around 130 different cookie and wafer products in bags and other packaging and market them nationally and internationally.

Machine and plant operator (m/f/d)

For our Verden site, we are looking for full-time machine and plant operator (m/f/d) on a shift basis with immediate effect.

Your tasks: 

  • Independent set-up, operation and monitoring of production systems
  • Ensuring a smooth and efficient production process
  • Minor maintenance and retooling work on the machines
  • Carrying out quality checks and documenting the results
  • Leading and instructing assigned employees within the area

What you should bring with you:

  • Completed training as a machine and plant operator or comparable technical qualification
  • Several years of experience in a production environment, ideally in food processing
  • Technical understanding, reliability and a sense of responsibility
  • Willingness to work in shifts (early/late shift, optional night shift)
  • Structured, independent way of working and ability to work in a team
  • Ability to work in a team, reliability and enjoy physical work
