Verdener Keks- und Waffelfabrik Hans Freitag GmbH & Co. KG is an owner-managed family business in Verden that has been producing fine cookies with great care and love for more than 76 years. We produce around 130 different cookie and wafer products in bags and other packaging and market them nationally and internationally. 

Fitter (m/f/d)

For our location in Verden we are looking for a full-time fitter (m/f/d) for the bakery area.

Your tasks:

  • Professional rectification of technical and mechanical faults on our baking systems during ongoing operations
  • Support, maintenance and servicing of the production and baking systems
  • Carrying out preventive maintenance measures in accordance with the maintenance plan to avoid unexpected malfunctions and optimize system performance
  • Documenting the maintenance and repair measures carried out
  • Instructing and monitoring external service providers during maintenance and repair work

What you should bring with you:

  • Completed vocational training as a locksmith (m/f/d) or a comparable qualification in the technical field / career starters are very welcome!
  • Physical resilience and willingness to work early and late shifts
  • Basic knowledge of pneumatics is an advantage in order to better understand how the systems work and to quickly rectify faults
  • Ability to work in a team and good communication skills
  • High degree of reliability, motivation and initiative
