Verdener Keks- und Waffelfabrik Hans Freitag GmbH & Co. KG is an owner-managed family business in Verden that has been producing fine baked goods with great care and love for more than 76 years. We produce around 130 different biscuit and wafer products in bags and other packaging and market them nationally and internationally.
Commercial employee as materials planner (m/f/d)
We are currently looking for support for our purchasing department, starting immediately, for 30 hours per week.
Your tasks:
- Independent order processing of packaging materials for the production of cookies and wafers
- Cross-departmental communication with our sales and production planning departments for optimal stock management
- Monitoring of stock levels and consumption
- Complaint processing and coordination of corrective measures with our suppliers
- Coordination of packaging material approvals and sample requests in cross-departmental cooperation
- Master data maintenance
- Other miscellaneous tasks
What you should bring with you:
- Completed commercial training
- Professional experience in purchasing or packaging development desirable
- Confident use of MS Office 365, especially Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
- Good written and spoken English skills
- Structured and communicative personality with a confident manner
- Interest in process optimization
- Willingness to work on Saturdays (max. 4 times a year for inventory purposes)
